Fall NAA Pickleball Leagues
The National Amateur Association of Pickleball allows players to compete at their respective skill levels in a flexible format.
This fall, represent your region for a chance to play in the East End Fall Pickleball Championship Tournament on November 2, 2024 at Stotsky Park in Riverhead.
Register by 10 PM on September 22, 2024. League play begins the week of September 23, 2024.
League Details
- There are 2 leagues (North Fork, and Riverhead) with men’s and women’s doubles divisions for 3.0-3.5, 3.5-3.9, and 4.0+ skill levels.
- Teams are made up of 3 people (2 players and an alternate), and only registered players are eligible to participate in league matches.
- Round Robin play: Teams will be scheduled to play a different team in their division each week in a best-of-three-game series.
Weekly matchups will be announced each Tuesday, with team captains notified by the league. - Games are played to 11 points; win by 2.
- Game play occurs on Tuesdays through Sundays, no league play on Mondays.
- Week 1: 9/24 - 9/29
Week 2: 10/1 - 10/6
Week 3: 10/8 - 10/13
Week 4: 10/15 - 10/20
Week 5: 10/22 - 10/27 - After 5 weeks of league play from September 24, 2024, to October 27, 2024, the team with the most total wins will be declared the winner in each division. In the event of teams having the same total wins, total points will be used for the tie-break.
- The winning and runner-up teams from each division will move on to the East End Fall Pickleball Tournament at Riverhead's Stotsky Park on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
- Depending on the number of registrations, divisions may be subdivided into two conferences, with only the winning team from each conference moving on to the tournament.
- Prizes for league and tournament winners.
- League information and standings will be made available via TeamReach and on this website. Team captains will receive the TeamReach code to share with their teams.
- The league will follow USAPA Official Pickleball Rules.
- Teams will flip a coin to determine Serving Team and Side of Court to start on, with teams switching sides at 6 points.
- Games are regulated by the players. All calls will be made by the team on the side of the court that the ball is being called on. Alternates in attendance may assist in making calls for only the side of the court that their team is on.
- Team captains are responsible for registering all members of their team and for scheduling the day, time, and location of their matches.
- Team captains are notified of their weekly match-ups on Tuesday mornings, and matches must be completed and scores submitted to the league no later than 9 PM on the Sunday of that week.
- If teams do not play their necessary matches within the Tuesday-Sunday window of each week, they will be issued a 0-3 result for that week.
- If a team becomes unavailable after a match has been scheduled, the unavailable team can request to reschedule on a mutually agreed-upon date; however, if the available team cannot accommodate the rescheduling request, the unavailable team will be deemed a forfeit and issued a 0-3 result for that week.
